As a former designer, I find it interesting how similar the original logo was to the Coca-Cola logo, and how much it has evolved over the years, retaining very little reference to the original (except perhaps the swoosh under the letters, but just barely). Thanks for sharing that.
You’ve left out the latest version which attempts to play off the Obama logo, to the point of HOPE scarves with the new Pepsi logo as the “O” being sold in Washington DC before the inauguration. It had me and my friend confused — read: misled, until I found the new website in a new tv ad.
